We discovered this quotation at Chelsea Physic Garden. It is the motto of Carl Linnaeus, the 18th Century Botanist and father of modern Taxonomy. We think his motto is so apt for our project that we have decided to adopt it.

First Find of the Archive

Found Friday 8th June, 3.45pm
This is the first item found for the Kensington and Chelsea Branch of the walkwalkwalk archive.
It was found on the pavement on Turks Row in front of the Memorial Plaque to the seventy seven people killed nearby by a bomb in 1944.
The find is a small leaf from the trees nearby, which shows some signs of disease.

A return to the site of these find, and a more detailed examination of the tree from which the leaf came leads us to conclude that this is an apple tree, thus an apple tree leaf.
